Every SmartSana level ends in a certification set, invigilated and marked by AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, Meta, Databricks or the Python Institute. It is not optional, it is not ours, and it is worth more than anything we could issue ourselves.

These certifications are set, invigilated and awarded by the companies named. We prepare you for them and we buy the voucher at the vendor’s own price. The marks above identify those certifications and imply no partnership with, sponsorship by or endorsement from their owners.

Because a certificate nobody can check is worth what the paper costs.

Plenty of providers make the exam optional. That is cheaper for them and worse for you, because the exam is the only part of your record that is independent of us.

Every level ends with a certification exam set, invigilated and marked by AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, Meta, Databricks or the Python Institute. It is compulsory. It is the part of your record that does not depend on anybody believing us.

  • It is read the same way everywhere. A recruiter in Lisbon, a hiring manager in Toronto and an HR officer in Douala all recognise PL-300 or AWS Solutions Architect. They do not recognise a certificate from a school they have never heard of, and neither would we in their position.
  • It outranks our own certificate, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Ours records what we taught and assessed. Theirs records that an independent company tested you under exam conditions. If you only keep one line on your CV, keep theirs.
  • It is portable across borders and across time. It is the credential that survives you leaving Cameroon, changing sector, or applying somewhere nobody has heard of your last employer.
  • We buy the voucher for you, at the vendor’s own price, with no markup. Cameroonian cards are frequently rejected at Pearson VUE checkout. Solving that is our job, not yours. You pay us the equivalent in FCFA at the day’s rate.

Prices are the vendors’ own, were correct in October 2026 and are re-quoted before you buy. Vendors change exam codes and retire exams; where that happens we move you to the successor and tell you before you pay. Meta and Microsoft credentials are renewed every year (Microsoft’s renewal is a free online assessment); AWS certifications last three years and the Databricks one two. Exam prices are shown in US dollars, exactly as the vendors charge them for our candidates.

Four more that cost nothing

On the Digital Marketing programme these are coursework, not an option. A Marketing learner finishes Level 1 holding five certifications having paid for one.

We buy the voucher. You sit the exam in week 11.

Cameroonian cards are frequently rejected at Pearson VUE checkout. Solving that is our job, not yours.

  1. Week 1. Your coach tells you which exam you are working towards, what it costs today, and what it tests.
  2. Halfway checkpoint, week 6. An honest conversation about readiness. If the timing needs to move, we move it rather than let you sit an exam you are not ready for.
  3. Week 9. We re-quote the voucher at the day’s rate and buy it. You pay us the exact equivalent in FCFA through Tara (Mobile Money, Wave, card or PayPal). No markup, and we show you the vendor’s receipt.
  4. Week 11. You sit it, online-proctored from the campus or from home, or at a test centre in Yaoundé or Douala. Cameroon is a supported country for online proctoring, including a rule that lets you use a paper government ID.
  5. If you fail. It happens, and it is not the end of the level. You keep your projects, your assessment record and your Career Passport. A retake is a new voucher at the vendor’s price, and your coach will tell you honestly whether to sit it again now or in three months.

No HND. No DQP. No CQP. No State or MINEFOP qualification of any kind.

We say this plainly because people in Cameroon have paid for “certificates” that turned out to be neither a State diploma nor a recognised certification. Ours is a different proposition, and we would rather you choose it with your eyes open.

In Cameroon diplomas are awarded by the State alone, and we do not prepare anyone for them. Our goal is different and we think, for the people we serve, better: a worldwide-recognised, industry-standard certification from AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, Meta, Databricks or the Python Institute at every level, and a portfolio of real client work to show beside it. Together they make you extremely competitive in today’s hiring market, whether you apply in Douala, Nairobi, Toronto or Berlin. Our own certificate is a separate, lesser thing that records what we taught and assessed; list it separately on your CV. If a State diploma is what you need, this is the wrong place, and we would rather tell you now than take your money.

Two ways to start. Both begin with a conversation.

Request information if you want an admissions advisor to call you, look at your profile and tell you honestly which programme and level fit. Apply if you already know. Either way, apart from the 10 000 FCFA application fee, which is your enrolment fee, paid once and not refundable, nothing is due until a place is confirmed in writing. After that, each tuition payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of making it.
